Fibromyalgia is a syndrome characterized by wide spread musculoskeletal pain and tenderness at specified sites, fatigue, unrefreshing sleep and multiple systemic symptoms.</font> <div align="left"> <p><font face="Arial" size="2" color="black">Fibromyalgia afflicts people of all ages, from the young to the old. Although fibromyalgia is seen in men, women and children, it is more common in women between the ages of 30 to 50 years.</font></p> <p><font face="Arial" size="2" color="black">Fibromyalgia is diagnosed by physicians or health professionals by careful examination of personal and family history with an assessment of 'tender points' in specific muscle locations throughout the body. Fibromyalgia is characterized as widespread pain in all four quadrants of the body for at least three months.
